IREX Digital Reader 800SG has been voted for as the runner up device in the GSMA Competition

London  — January 20, 2010 —  IREX Technologies is proud to announce that the DR800SG has been voted for as the runner up device in the GSMA Best Embedded Mobile Device Competition 2010.

After extensive testing by the GSMA judging panel and a comprehensive demonstration of the DR800SG, the panel gave following comments: “The panel was very impressed by the DR800SG, its elegant solution and design, as well as open platform that will encourage all manner of content and create great new opportunities for MNO’s and content providers.  

The DR800SG will be demonstrated at the GSMA booth and also at the Qualcomm booth from 15 February up to 18 February 2010 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
